Starting in commercial fit outs as a licensed carpenter and joiner, principal Simon Cozens quickly gained a reputation as a fire door installation and certification specialist. Installing over 5000 fire doors across all facets of construction soon inspired Simon to launch his own fire protection company Coast Fire Safety on the Sunshine Coast in 2012.
Keenly augmenting his practical skills, Simon studied business management, asset maintenance and fire protection complemented by licenses in: portable fire protection, passive fire protection, emergency and exit lighting systems, Pyrogen suppression system installation, in addition to fire detection/alarm & warning systems.
After several visits to the Wide Bay Burnett region we received strong interest in our services and answered the need to provide quality and affordable fire protection in Bundaberg and beyond. Bundaberg Fire Safety offers fully comprehensive fire protection encompassing consultation, supply, installation, testing, certification and servicing of all fire safety equipment. We are also one of the few licensed fire door certifiers in the region.
